Effortlessly Complete Tasks with SW-DO AI Agent Skill
The SW-DO AI Agent Skill facilitates seamless task completion by orchestrating the planning and implementation processes for Superwiki tasks. It converts tasks from "todo" to "done" with a single command, leveraging its internal logic to determine and execute the necessary actions via the sw-plan and sw-implement skills.
What this skill does
Identifies the task to be executed. If a task ID is provided, the skill checks the task. If no ID is available, it prompts the user to select from ready tasks.
Determines the appropriate course of action based on the task's status and plan:
If marked as "done" or "cancelled", it pauses for user input.
For tasks "in-progress" or with an "approved" status, it proceeds directly to sw-implement.
If a draft plan is detected, it triggers a revision using the large route with sw-plan.
Stops execution if dependencies are open, emulating sw-implement's gate.
Makes a note in the task's existing "Notes" section.
Requires the task module (docs/tasks/). If not present, suggests initializing with sw-init using the --tasks flag.
Who it is for
This skill is designed for developers and teams utilizing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. It is especially beneficial for those seeking to streamline their task management workflow.
